As a first year competitor, local restaunteur John Tohill and his team took first place overall in the 2026 Texas Burger Bash! They placed 3rd in the Smash Burger category, 2nd in the Chef’s Choice category, and 5th in the Cover Burger category with a total cumulative score of 22.94 points! Well done Jay Dee’z!!

Blue Shepherd’s Dale Dombrowski
In a show of sheer force and determination, Dale competed as a solo cook team. This newcomer demonstrated that meticulous attention to detail CAN in fact lead to victory! Blue Shepherd swept the People’s Choice category by receiving almost 1/4th of the overall votes from the public! Congrats Dale!!
